WHAT IS THE YKK MANAGEMENT PRINCIPLE, “YKK SEEKS CORPORATE VALUE OF HIGHER SIGNIFICANCE”
How do the YKK Philosophy and Management Principle work in practice?
Each of us should increase our own value,
which will lead to the increased corporate value of the YKK Group.
EACH OF US, OF OUR OWN WILLPOWER, CREATES NEW VALUE.
YKK founder Tadao Yoshida felt very strongly that any business is an important member of society and that the relationship was symbiotic, and he thought that as a business shares its advantages, society will recognize the value of having the company in its midst. The philosophy that came from that line of thinking is the “Cycle of Goodness,” which brought YKK to the fundamental standpoint of coexistence with society as its most important stance.
PURSUIT OF CORPORATE VALUE, AND 7 QUALITIES
To embody the Management Principle that “YKK seeks corporate value of higher significance,” we must pursue new quality in seven fields. The YKK Group strives to satisfy our customers, earn recognition from society, and be a company where employees are proud and happy to work. To achieve this, we must strive for higher quality in products, technology and skills, and management. As we strive to accomplish these things, we must always maintain “fairness” in all we do. These are our value standards and we make them integral parts of our company’s operations and activities.
